Private one to one yoga in Basingstoke

A mat and two cork blocks laid out on the grass in a walled garden, morning light across the lawn

the garden room, RG24

Yoga taught one at a time, in a room with the garden through the door. Built around whatever your body is doing that morning.

01  the practice

There is nobody else in the room, so nothing has to be a compromise.

A rolled yoga mat standing against the wall beside the garden door, with a potted shrub and paving outside

props

Blocks, a strap, cushions, a chair, so the shape fits you rather than you reaching for it.

what to bring

Clothes you can move in. Everything else is here.

04  who I am

I teach one person at a time, and only that.

Working with one person, I can watch how you actually move rather than how a room roughly moves, and change things as we go.

I am slow, I use ordinary words, and you can decline any of it without explaining yourself. Most people who come here would not call themselves a yoga person, and never start to.

05  workshops

A few times a year, in a small group.

Half a day, occasionally a weekend. Small, unhurried, nobody put on the spot.

A gentle way in if you are curious about practising near other people. Plenty stay one to one instead.

in the diary

Nothing booked at the moment.

Ask to go on the list and I will write when the next is set. A short email, a few times a year.
